"We, us, our" refers to JK Cabinetry FL and "you, your, customer" refers to the customer/buyer.

UPS Shipping

Single item or cabinet will ship through UPS Ground. Most in-stock items will ship within two business days. Deliveries through UPS will not require a signature upon delivery and will drop off at door, so please make sure you can receive the order in a timely manner as we are not responbile for packages claimed as not received or stolen.

Please make sure the shipping address is correct and complete. This means the shipping address must include any applicable unit numbers or apartment numbers. Any corrections made by UPS is a $25 UPS Address Correction Charge.

A tracking number will be provided as soon as possible once the order is processed and ready to ship. If the package you received is damaged on arrival, you must take pictures of both the outside condition of the box and the inside condition. Claims with shipping damage will not be approved without photo evidence.

Pallet/Freight Shipping

Most in-stock orders will ship within two business days from our warehouse. We use 3rd party delivery companys/carriers to fullfil all shipping orders. Most LTL shipments arrive in 3-10 business days, however, sometimes unforeseen circumstances can cause delays. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. We are not responsible and will not financially compensate for any delays in your project(s) due to delays by the carrier. Please direct any questions or statements directly with the carrier.

Please make sure the shipping address and the contact number are correct prior to approving and paying for the order. If the shipping address is incorrect or needs to be changed after your order is shipped, you will be responsible for all charges with reconsignment.

Visible loss or damage is apparent at the time of delivery and should be noted. You must note down visibily damaged during transit shipments or incomplete deliveries (e.g., trim box is missing). The driver will hand you a Bill of Lading (BOL) to sign during delivery, and this could either be a paper or an electronic form.

Before signing, it is important you inspect the shipment for any damage that you see or suspect happened during transit (e.g., the trim box is broken in half, the order arrived without stretch wrap, you see a dent on one side, etc.). If you notice anything that does not look normal, you must take pictures and you must note it on the BOL before signing, this will help your case once you find concealed damage.

If you do not note the damage, we are not responsible if your claim is denied by the shipping carrier per carrier's policy and our policy. You will be responsible for paying for a replacement order and shipping. Please note down the damage, as long as you suspect it. Incomplete deliveries, (e.g., missing trim box) must be noted on the BOL prior to signing.

Our warehouse will always pack our pallets and boxes with stretch wrap. Freight shipments from a single invoice will always be shipped together. This means that if the shipment is two pallets and one box, you should receive two pallets and one box during delivery. If the carrier does not deliver all pieces, you must note missing pieces prior to signing. We will not be held responsbile for undelivered items if you sign without noting missing items.

Residential Freight (Flatpack)

All residential deliveries require a delivery appointment and a representative from the carrier will contact you to set up a delivery date. All residential deliveries are curbside only; the driver will not help unload to your house or garage. You are responsible for unloading and moving to the desired location.

Once the shipment reaches the destination terminal, you must receive shipment within 48 hours, or you will be responsible for any and all storage charges should you choose to hold shipment with the shipping carrier (if the carrier allows for storage). You must be onsite during the time of delivery, or you will be responsible for any attempted delivery fee the carrier charges. Do not refuse shipment as you will be responsible for any attempted delivery, storage, and/or return fees the carrier charges.

Commercial Freight (Flatpack)

For all commercial freight deliveries, you may or may not be contacted by the carrier first, therefore, you must be onsite during the entirety of the carrier’s delivery hours. If a delivery attempt is made, but there is no one on site to receive the shipment, you will be responsible for the delivery attempt the carrier charges. Do not refuse shipment as you will be responsible for any attempted delivery, storage, and/or return fee the carrier charges.

Local Delivery (Assembled)

Assembled delivery is only available to the State of Florida. We will contact you as soon as assembly is completed to schedule a delivery date, and the driver will also contact you, usually a day before, to notify you a delivery time window. You are required to be on site during the time of delivery and inspect each and every piece of cabinet before signing. We inspect each and every cabinet before loading onto the delivery truck.

During delivery, you must note down any damage or missing pieces before signing. If you do not note any damage prior to signing, you have agreed everything is delivered in good condition. If you file a damage claim later on, you will be responsbile for the full amount plus shipping as you did not state there were damages during delivery.

Please take inventory and make sure you received all correct quantities and pieces prior to signing the paper. If you file a claim at a later date that you did not receive the right quantity of an item, but you did not note this down during delivery, we are not responsible for and you will be need to pay for the price of the item plus shipping per our policy. It is important you check all items and quantities during the delivery to make sure it matches prior to signing.

All assembled delivery will be delivered to the driveway or garage only, the driver is not responsible to help you unload inside the house or to certain areas. There are additional fees for inside delivery that the driver will charge, and it varies based on accessibility, distance, and environmental factors and this is at the discretion of the driver. If this fee is not paid in advance during the approval of the sales order, you must pay the driver separately during delivery.

If you refuse shipment or are unable to receive shipment after the driver has already arrived at the delivery location, you will be responsible for the full re-delivery charge.
